Our names are Travis and Allison.

We are the husband and wife team behind The Refuge BBQ. First and foremost we are the stewards of this awesome business that God has blessed us with, we enjoy the conversations and opportunities we get to serve our community through our little kitchen in the corner of The Tuftonboro General Store!

Our seasonings, BBQ Sauces, Cookies, Buns, and more are all handcrafted and homemade by us. We love being able to offer good homemade food to our customers as we believe serving pre packaged is not the way. A little history behind the name The Refuge BBQ; it found its roots in Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good. How happy is the person who takes refuge in him!”. We find our refuge in Him and are excited to see how He continues to grow this business.
